Scott Helwig has had the privilege of serving in the United States Navy for over 24 years, accumulating a wealth of experience in the world of music. His musical journey has taken him to 44 countries across five continents, showcasing his exceptional talent on a global stage.

Currently, Scott holds the esteemed position of Command Master Chief at the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach,
VA, where he continues to inspire and guide aspiring musicians.

Scott's passion for music extends to the world of jazz and big band.
As the drummer for the renowned "Good Shot Judy" swing band, he has graced stages throughout the East Coast and central United States. This ensemble breathes new life into the great American songbook, infusing it with a modern and contemporary twist.
Scott's extensive experience in the high-caliber world of big band music has solidified his reputation as a true master of the art.
