Ryan was born and raised in the smallest Canadian Province, Prince Edward Island where he grew up playing in school jazz and funk bands. Starting young with punk rock, and over the years learning and experimenting with different styles such as jazz, funk, metal and rock, Ryan has found a combination of all of these styles to create his own unique sound.

Ryan has shared the stage with many acts over the years such as – Metallica, Seether, Coheed & Cambria, 3 Inches of Blood, Seaway, Rise Against, The Vandals, Protest the Hero and many more!
